The beautiful painting presented to us shows a varied still life with various specimens of game, including hares and birds, combined with vine leaves, pomegranates and numerous mushrooms. A partridge sits on the latter, almost as a lookout, observing the scene with an alert attitude. The elegant composition that is created reveals an autumnal flavor made of hunting and first fruits of the undergrowth.
